The cost of your event will depend on the menu and bar package you choose and the number of guests in your group. There are, however, minimum food and beverage purchase requirements that must be met in order to reserve the space. These minimums may be found in the Event Planning Kit. Please note that the event planning fee, service fee, and taxes do not contribute towards the food and minimum requirement.
If you fail to meet the minimum food and beverage purchase requirement, a room rental fee will be assessed in the amount of the discrepancy. Please note that the room rental fee is subject to tax and service fee.
No, the Portofino Room can only be rented in conjunction with the purchase of food and beverage from us. With the exception of a pre-arranged dessert (in which case an outside dessert fee will be assessed) or the addition of wine or champagne from outside the venue (in which case a corkage fee per bottle will be assessed), no outside food or beverage will be permitted.
During lunch events you will have use of the space for a three hour maximum. During dinner events you will have use of the space for a four hour maximum. Additional time may be arranged ahead of time at a cost of $150 per additional hour. This additional fee is subject to tax and service fee.
In order to ensure that the space is properly set up and that your group is best served, we ask that you and your party not arrive earlier than 10-15 minutes prior to your event start time. Guests who arrive early will be directed to the bar or waiting area next door at Paesanos. Arrangements may be made to drop off or set up decorations prior to your event with your event coordinator.
Due to noise restrictions we do not allow the use of a DJ in the venue. A small, un-amplified musical act may be considered on a case by case basis.
Your final head count is due no later than 72 hours prior to your event. You will be charged for the this number of guests on the day of the event regardless of how many actually attend.
Enough seating will be provided for only the confirmed number of heads in your group. If additional seating is needed because your group is larger than the confirmed head count you will be assessed an additional per head charge for buffet packages as more food will need to be prepared to fully serve your group.
The Portofino Room offers casual buffet style service. Our staff members will ensure that the buffet table and dining tables are maintained and will offer refills of water, iced tea and coffee. All beverages must be ordered from the bar and all food is offered for self service on the buffet line.
If you don't see exactly what you're looking for in one of our buffet packages our event planner will work with you to customize your selection.
No, all beer and liquor must be purchased from us. You may arrange to bring wine or champagne for a corkage fee of $12 per bottle.
